Haywood Shaft Library

More ways to build it your way.

A custom build should give you meaningful choices. Explore the weights, flexes, flight profiles and materials available across the Haywood lineup—and why each option earns its place.

Unsure what to choose? Find My Fit is the place to start. This library explains the options we offer; it is not a personalized fitting recommendation.

Choice—with a reason behind it.

We offer more than a token regular-or-stiff decision. The range lets a fitter—or an informed golfer—consider the weight, feel and flight window that make sense for the complete build.

01

Flight windows

Options spanning higher-launching profiles through more penetrating, lower-flight builds.

02

Weight progression

Lightweight speed-oriented builds through heavier profiles designed around stability and control.

03

Different materials

Steel, graphite and composite constructions provide distinct combinations of feedback, damping and weight.

Browse every shaft we offer.

Filter the catalogue—not your swing. No option is ranked as “best,” and these controls do not generate a fitting recommendation.

Let Find My Fit narrow the field.

Six questions produce one complete starting configuration—head, shaft, length, lie and grip. The Shaft Library is here when you want to understand the options in more detail.

A few useful terms.

Flex
A manufacturer’s designation for relative shaft stiffness. Flex labels are not standardized across every model or brand.
Weight
The listed shaft weight, generally measured in grams. Weight can influence speed, tempo, feel and the overall balance of the build.
Launch
The general trajectory window associated with a shaft profile. The golfer, clubhead, loft and delivery still shape the actual result.
Spin
A comparative description of the shaft profile—not a guaranteed ball-flight outcome.
Tip profile
A general description of the shaft’s lower section. A firmer tip is commonly associated with stability; a softer tip can feel more active.
Stock / upcharge
Stock options are included in the standard build. Upcharge options carry an additional cost shown in the product configurator.

Shaft availability and pricing can change. The options shown in the product configurator at the time of purchase are authoritative. For help confirming an option, contact Haywood or work with a fitting professional.
