When approaching design for our newest lines, the Haywood CB’s and the Haywood MBs, we wanted sets that were combinable to allow our customers to experience increased forgiveness in the lower irons and more workable clubs in the scoring irons.
Taking cues from our past iterations and designs, we created our new sets with a harmonious look, ensuring that despite merging two different club heads, the combo sets look and feel balanced and compatible. Each set offers Haywood’s trademark simplicity and timelessness, with subtly-milled detailing, and clean lines.
First forged using 1020 carbon steel and then 100% milled, allows for the tightest weight and club measurement tolerances in the industry.

Process has been great so far. Received the CB 7 iron just before the ranges closed for the season. Though it’s one degree stronger, the CB flew about 25% higher on solid strikes and 50% higher when I hit it thin (typical miss). Overall about 10 yards longer. They look and feel great too. Hope to add the rest of the combo set before next season
I got fitted for the 4-PW MB/CB combo. The fitting session was fun, comfortable, and informative. I ordered on the spot and left knowing that the product I'd be getting is quality and best suited for my swing. The clubs look amazing and people have come up to me at the range and course wondering where they're from. The good looks also got me feeling more confident when I play. The affordability of golf has always been an issue for me since I have so many random hobbies, but due to the reasonable price, I've had no regrets and hitting the range or the course is what gets me through the week. I'm hoping to get my hands on a few of their wedges soon to round out my setup!
Love the look anf feel of the irons and 5 wood purchased. Shaft change fits me. Will definitely be buying axsecond set for 2nd home.
CB/MB combo set. Everything from start to finish with customer service has been excellent. The team at Haywood golf answer questions promptly and provide a great product. I have the 4-7 CB with 8-P MB DG 105 x-stiff shafts. Feel is fantastic and looks are even better.
Thank you Haywood golf
I just received my MB (8-PW) to compliment my CB irons I have been playing for two years. First let my say that they were delivered ahead of schedule and look fantastic. Haywood matched my specs from my CB irons to a tee, which they had on file, perfect. So, we should talk performance…the yardages were identical to my CB irons but I able to shape the ball with ease. I drew the 8 iron into the wind to set up one of my 6 birdies on the day and then launched the same club sky high to a tight pin. I am not Tiger but these irons will allow you to hit shots with confidence. Again Haywood has exceeded my expectations. Kudos to Josh and his team.
6 hcp upgrading from game improver irons to this MB/CB set. Irons feel amazing to hit and are pretty forgiving as well. I finally have distance control from 100-180 and have been hitting 3-4 more greens per round. I couldn't decide whether to get the 7i as MB or CB but settled on MB. It's the sexiest club in my bag. No regrets.
Ive had this combo set in the bag for about a year now and i cant find a single thing i dont like. The feel and workability of these irons is unlike any ive ever felt and fit my game perfectly. Even after fully spec’d out im not sure another brand can compete at the quality and price point that these irons deliver.
The product is amazing and I can’t wait to play golf this summer
I am a 3 handicap and went and got the cb mb combo. I replaced a set of pxg gen 2 tour. My distance control and shot shaping is alot more consistent. I have just shot my 2 best rounds this year with new set and hit my second hole in one of the year.
For my Bogey golf standard I have no business putting these in the bag but they feel great, look great, and have a scary amount of forgiveness!! Incredibly as well, those fly such a long way I'm a club longer than my old cavity backs. Thanks Haywood!!
Given my 15 handicap, I shouldn’t have these irons! But…so glad I do! The look, feel and sound of the MBs are awesome and the forgiveness of the CBs are an added bonus! Do I have to work with them, yes but now…I want to practice! The quality, packaging and customer service are all class acts! These are the real deal!!!

I've been an adequate ballstriker for some time. Not my biggest strength, but I hit the ball more often than I do thin/fat it.
I purchased these irons because they look beautiful and they are not so aggressively lofted.
Upon receiving them, I noticed that my distance with them compared to my old irons (Cobra RadSpeed One-Length) was dramatically less. Over the last few months I've adjusted and am now hitting them roughly the same distances as my old irons - slightly less due to lofts, but that's expected.
If you're a mid/high handicapper that doesn't struggle with ball striking, I think these irons will not do you wrong.
They feel extremely pleasant on a centered hit - and they don't feel extremely punishing on an off-centered one. They do cost you distance if you hit it off the toe/heel, more so than cavity backs, but they're no 'harder to hit' in my opinion than my previous game improvement irons.
~~
I am extremely impressed with this purchase and will happily promote Haywood clubs to friends!
P.S. White grips (wraps) with Pink ferrules makes for a beautiful combination!

I ordered my set (5-7 CB, 8-P MB, KBS Tour) back in February, but wanted to give them a solid test on course before doing a review.
After much range and playing time, I can honestly say that these irons are among the best; if not the best, I've owned (and that's saying something).
I tend to be a fairly shallow swinger, with minimal divot depth. The sole width and design on this set really seems to work for me. I get a clean, shallow (but deeper) divot on most shots with the club cutting cleanly through the turf.
The other remarkable thing about these irons is the height, spin and distance I get with them. As a lower ball hitter normally with irons, I've gained a good deal of height, but also some distance; even compared to a set that are two degrees stronger in loft club for club. Spin has been in an optimal window was well. My playing partners often comment on the height and consistency on mid iron shots in particular.
Forgiveness in the set has been great, including both the CB and MB's. They are way more forgiving than they look like they should be.
Lastly, I have to comment on the customer service Haywood provides. I had a couple of questions regarding shaft options in their matrix and got quick and informed responses. Clubs were also built and shipped well within the estimated window.
I only wish they made a set Gap Wedge as well!
In summary, I'm very happy with this set. So much so that I ordered a second set for my back up bag!
Well done Haywood!

I took a chance on these irons after trying out the signature series my wife bought. The difference is she’s right handed and I’m a lefty. I was still able to send a 7 iron 150 over water and stick the green. I was sold afterwards. This combo set not only looks great but they perform amazingly. Soft but receptive feel, very accurate and fast off the face.
They also look the part in the golf bag. Don’t hold reservations about these clubs, give them a shot. You won’t regret it.

Coming from a set of Titleist 714CB irons, I had half-expected these to feel similar but I couldn't be more wrong. I love these so much that I am about to order a second identical set for range beating. Their thin soles allow them to sit very flush with the ground and close to the ball, giving me more confidence of catching the ball solid. They also cut through the turf beautifully. Blade length looks slightly longer than the 714CB which again inspires slightly more confidence in finding the middle of the face, which brings me to the next point. I have found that even when I don't find the middle (which is more often than not!), these are much more forgiving than I am accustomed to. I often look at the ball flight and think, hmm it didn't sound very pure, but the ball flight looked alright. It would come apparent once I checked the club face that I had missed the middle by a mile and yet there was little by way of a dud ball flight or much distance loss. In addition, my fingers have stopped hurting - they are so much softer feeling and less jarring on the mishits!

For the price of this combo set (4-6CB 7-PW MB), my expectations have been well and truly exceeded. Both the MBs and CBs look stunning (and really compliment each other in the bag (both visually and from a performance standpoint), sit beautifully behind the ball, and provide a level of forgiveness that took me by surprise. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I had reservations as I am in Australia, and was my first time purchasing a DTC set. Having received my set after a smooth and easy order process, and a 9 day delivery time (from order date to delivery from Canada to Australia), I have zero regrets. I am really glad I pulled the trigger and treated myself to these. The order came with some additional items, which was a classy touch. Its clear the team at Haywood really go above and beyond for the customer. If you have doubts, toss them, and grab yourself a new set of irons! Thanks team Haywood :)
First off, these are some of the best looking irons I have ever seen. Classy, smooth and they perform just as good as they look. I had been playing Taylormade irons for the last 8 years and have improved significantly over that time, so I started looking and the Haywood's caught my eye. I am so glad I took a chance and got them. They are easy to shape, easy to hit and are still forgiving on some of the mishits. The CB's are especially forgiving! For the price point, nobody would be able to convince me there is a better iron for the budget minded golfer. I will certainly recommend these to anyone who asks!

It’s been over a month now, so I’ve had a decent sample size and I’m loving my Haywood’s more and more with every round. My previous set were Titleist 690 MB’s and I’m hitting my Haywood’s straighter and about 5 yards longer in the short irons, 10 in the CB’s (my set is PW-7 blade, 6-4 cavity), and l’m getting exceptional spin and height. These clubs are more forgiving than I was expecting, and the sound/feel on a flush strike is PHENOMENAL. I highly recommend Haywood for quality, price, looks and feel!
